Minced Port Rice 滷肉飯

Here's the recipe on how to make a perfect Taiwanese Minced Port Rice
Ingredients
- 500 g diced pork belly (or minced)
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil
- 5 cloves garlic
- 1/2 cup chopped red onion(already fried is okay too)
- 1/2 cup soya sauce
- 30 g oyster sauce
- 1/2 cup white rice wine
- 20 g rock sugar
- 2 star anise or 1 teaspoon of five spice powder
- A few dashes of white pepper
- enough water to cover (500~700ml)
- some boiled eggs - optional
- some chopped shallot
